Quality lies at the very heart of our business. We continue to make considerable investment in our people to ensure that quality processes and procedures are in place throughout the company. We have attained both the 'Investors in People' Award and the QMP accreditation for quality in mail production.
Outlined below are some of the most common checks we operate:
We have a planned Production Control System, which monitors all mailings throughout the plant. This incorporates regular production meetings between your Account Manager and production staff. Any slippage or delays are monitored and escalated as and when required.
All incoming data is 'flight' checked to establish that the file is valid. This will generate a report detailing the number of records and alert us to any variances from your specification.
We will also archive a copy of the final mailing file should any interrogation be required
at a later date.
Our operators regularly undertake checks on the quality of the lasering or inkjetting
and ensure that everything conforms to our customer’s ‘Sign Off’ sheet. The frequency
of these checks are subject to quantity and running speeds.
All checks are logged on a quality control sheet where the time, operator and sequence
number is recorded.
We always endeavour to keep spoils to a minimum and will run blanks to set up and check
machinery.
For each project, we check the contents of enclosed packs against the control sample
pack at least every hour. A quality control sheet will be completed which enables us
to constantly monitor the address window, any matching items and the quality of the
sealing.
A supervisor will ensure that the above checks are carried out and are correctly logged.
Packs are constantly checked for content, window position and any matched item against
the control sample pack.
This information will be logged, recorded and signed for by the Supervisor.
We have a fully computerised warehousing system that records every item we hold in stock
under a unique reference number.
A percentage of boxes from each pallet of all stock delivered are weighed to ensure
correct quantities and discrepancies are notified prior to the commencement of production.
Most of our plant is new and we do not envisage any one single point of failure. However,
we carry sufficient spares and we have good levels of service and cover from our hardware
suppliers and manufacturers as well as in-house engineers.
All machinery is also regularly maintained and serviced.
All our operators attend regular training courses.
