Our warehouse, situated accross the road at 25B Ganton Way, is able to accept deliveries between the hours of 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Special arrangements will need to be made for deliveries outside of these hours, therefore, please contact your Account Manager to make the necessary arrangements.
All deliveries should be booked in advance with your account manager. This will avoid delay in unloading of vehicles.
Each delivery should be received with a delivery note giving a detailed description of all items. The following information should be detailed on the delivery note:
- Job title.
- Stock type.
- Quantity per box.
- Number of boxes.
- Nunber of pallets.
Any delivery received without a detailed delivery note will cause delay in processing and validation of stock.
All material should be supplied boxed and palletised, with a preferred pallet size of 40"x 48" although other pallet sizes are acceptable. Maximum height of pallets should not exceed 4ft. We are not able to validate quantities for items supplied loose on pallets and it should be noted that these deliveries will be likely to have a higher spoilage rate when lasering and enclosing as they are more prone to damage.
Items within boxes should be supplied either banded (all items facing same direction within band) or if supplied loose within boxes, all items facing same way within box. Please do not twist or turn items within the same bundle or band as this causes problems feeding the items onto machines and may incur extra costs.
Please ensure that different stock types are clearly separated and not mixed on pallets or in boxes. A cost may be levied if we need to sort items mixed on pallets.
For further information regarding deliveries, please contact your TMS Account Manager on 01793 498000.
